This policy explains, as required by Art. 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which personal data we process when you visit this website. In short: we use no cookies, no tracking and no analytics, and we load nothing from third-party servers.

We have not appointed a data protection officer, as there is no legal obligation to do so.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by GoOnline Web Solutions, [address]. Each time a page is requested, the server automatically records:

  • the IP address of the requesting device
  • date and time of the request
  • the page or file requested and the amount of data transferred
  • browser and operating system (user agent) and the referring page, if sent

This data is technically required to deliver the website and to keep it secure, for example to fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). Log files are deleted after [e.g. 7] days. We have a data processing agreement with the hosting provider under Art. 28 GDPR.

3. Contact form and email

When you contact us through the form or by email, we process your name, email address, your message and any optional details such as company or vehicle. Our own web server forwards the form to us by email; no external form service is involved and the website does not store your input.

We use this data only to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in replying). We delete the correspondence once the enquiry is settled, unless statutory retention periods for business records apply (up to 10 years).

Emails are also received via GoOnline Web Solutions.

4. Cookies, tracking, external content

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or marketing services. Fonts and images are served from our own server; no data is sent to third parties such as Google or image agencies when you load a page. A cookie banner is therefore not required.

5. SSL/TLS encryption

This website and the contact form are transmitted encrypted via HTTPS.

6. Your rights

You have the right at any time to

  • access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • have incorrect data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).

A short email to contact [at] blackstoneengineering [dot] net is enough.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the member state where you live or work. The authority responsible for us is the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28, Ireland, www.dataprotection.ie.

7. No automated decision-making

We do not make automated decisions or create profiles within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
